Welcome to the NU Anthropology Lab!

The Anthropology Lab opened at Nazarbayev University on December 2, 2016. It is used for both teaching classes like “Human Evolution”, “Laboratory Methods in Archaeology”, and research: data collection and analysis of pottery, bones and stones. The laboratory is also equipped for digital archaeology: reconstructing 3D imagery of the site, looking at spatial association of artifacts through Geographic Information System (GIS).
