Student Achievements
Students in the School of Sciences and Humanities (SSH) demonstrate distinction in their various academic pursuits both in and out of the classroom. Outside of the classroom, our students are engaged in presenting research as scholars. In the classroom, the Dean's List is the primary distinction offered by SHSS to honor our student's academic excellence.
Every semester, the Dean's List recognizes those that have achieved a grade point average of 3.75 or higher. We are proud to recognize our students for their outstanding achievement.

Research projects
Chemistry students have won a $ 3,000 grant from the American Chemical Community.
According to Professor Timur Atabaev, the competition is held once a year among student organisations affiliated with the American Chemical Community. This year the competition received more than 33 applications from around the world. Students of the Department of Chemistry win this grant for the second year in a row. As part of the grant, a summer chemical school will be held at Nazarbayev University for children from low-income families.
