SSH students are an integral part of NU student community and NU student organizations. Organized in more than 50 student clubs and associations, they help students find affinity groups, express their talents, provide grounds to implement their initiatives, as well as create unforgettable student life. The list of organizations that were founded at SSH and expanded to the university level include Children's Charity Club, NU Contemporary Dance Club, NU Latino Social Club, NU Student Vocal Club, Youth Parliament – Astana, Enactus NU, NU French Club and NU Cheerleading Team.
Alongside NU student organizations, SSH student community has initiated a number of school-wide alliances. Those include Student Council, Association of Political Science Students, Nazarbayev University Model United Nations Club (NUMUN), and SSH magazine "Focus".

SSH Student Council is an organization that represents student concerns to the School faculty and administration to improve the quality of education and student life at SSH.
The
Association of Political Science Students is a student organization dedicated to students who are majoring, minoring or just interested in Political Science and International Relations. The Association is aimed at building closer faculty –student relations, encouraging students to explore research careers in political science and international relations, organizing social events for students who share common interests , facilitate discussion, debate, and dialogue over political issues in a friendly and open atmosphere where individuals feel free to express their personal views, and building bridges with professionals from political science and international relations community.
