As part of SSH’ commitment to science outreach, Assistant Professor Dana Alina from the Department of Physics held the first planetarium-mode astronomical seminar for children!
The seminar, "Cosmic Delivery" (Космическая доставка), took place in a digital yurt transformed into a planetarium at NU, offering an interactive exploration of the solar system, the Milky Way, asteroids, and comets. Together with her student from CPS, Dr. Alina engaged schoolchildren from different schools, as well as students, citizens, and researchers— gathering about 45 participants in total.
As part of the event, participants tested their knowledge, with the winner receiving a James Webb Space Telescope poster from the European Space Agency.
