On March 20, 2026, the Department of Kazakh Language and Turkic Studies of Nazarbayev University will hold an international scientific and theoretical conference on the topic “Social and Humanitarian Sciences: Discourse of Public Values”.
Foreign and local scientists, higher education teachers, researchers from research institutes, and doctoral and master's students are invited to the conference.
The main directions of the conference:
1) Linguistic aspects of postcolonial discourse
2) Postcolonial research in literature studies
3) Turkology: cultural and historical continuity
4) Historical, anthropological, and philosophical basis of social values

Abstract Requirements:
abstracts should be between 250-300 words (accepted only in electronic version);
Times New Roman, size 14;
single-spaced (1), set margins to 2 cm on all sides;
a file with abstract is saved in the format: «аңдатпа_тегі, аты»;
abstracts and applications for participation in the conference are accepted by mail: kazltconference@nu.edu.kz
Abstract Submission Requirements:
Title should be in the center with capitalizing each word;
The name of the author (in the center);
Full name of the affiliation, location, and country (in the center);
E-mail of the participant (in the center);
Directions of the conference;
The structure of the abstract should include the significance of the study, aims, methods, and results;
Add 4-6 keywords after the abstract in Kazakh, English, and Russian.
Abstracts submitted after February 20, 2026, or those that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted. Authors are responsible for the content and accuracy of the submitted materials.
Participation and registration procedure:
participation in the conference is free of charge;
authors whose abstracts have been accepted can register for the conference;
author whose abstracts have been accepted will be notified via email and will receive an invitation letter.
Accepted abstracts will be published as PDFs and emailed to participants.Upon completion of the conference, participants will receive a certificate.
