Prof. Kammakakam was invited by New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), UAE. Prof. Kammakakam delivered two talks at NYUAD about his research works at Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan “Ionic-mediated Rigid Polymeric Backbones: Extraordinary Membrane Promises Toward Various Separation Applications”. Further discussions, ideas, and perspectives shared with highly renowned scientists and faculties were rich and highly grateful. Prof. Kammakakam learned many new NMR technologies from the Materials NMR Lab at NYUAD where Prof. Brijith Thomas is the Principal Investigator and had various sessions to demonstrate novel ionic-mediated polymers for separation technologies utilizing the different NMR techniques.

Furthermore, Prof. Kammakakam had a direct meeting with many Kazakh students who are doing their undergraduate degree in Chemistry at NYUAD. Prof. Kammakakam also sought the possibility of sending his students from NU to NYUAD with future internship programs.
